Even when this was a small city there’s something about the light there’s something about the air, about the part in Texas, about the water that made this place special from the very beginning. The feeling you get when you get off the plane is it’s fun it’s kinda free and liberating and is kinda known for that so it makes entertaining people easy.

I was originally drawn to Austin because of the incredible vibrancy and pulse of the city. It’s the live music capital of the world. So just a wonderful city to live in overall. There’s so much to do and so much to see. Austin’s on top of its game. There’s great food that’s constantly evolving out of Austin. Everybody loves talking in Austin about the trailer food because there are hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of trailers with this amazing food from all over the world all over town.

I came to Austin and I saw this dilapidated area named Rainey Street. Rainey Street has an old neighborhood feel. It’s lined with bungalows some of them could be historic and I think they all exude something different and fun about them which brings people or they wanna come and have fun.

Austin is the live music capital of the world!

So just a wonderful city to live in overall. There’s so much to do and so much to see. Austin’s on top of its game. There’s great food that’s constantly evolving out of Austin. Everybody loves talking in Austin about the trailer food because there are hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of trailers with this amazing food from all over the world all over town.

You can pop down anywhere in Austin or Round Rock and have a great time and people welcome you. If I had a chance to show you around Austin we would probably go on a canoe ride downtown lake and grab a bite to eat at Trace restautant. And maybe do a little vintage shopping on south Congress or north Hoop and it’s amazing what you’d find in their shops.

The visual arts really on the rise here People think about Austin for film or music but a lot of artists in their own studios here today. East is the east Austin studio tour which is hundreds of artists opening up their studios for two weekends of tours which is a great kinda roving pub crawl to art. The arts you have to look a little harder for. Obviously, music has been a trend for a long time but it’s still fun to find a new hottest place on a Tuesday night Or new hottest place to find some Blues.

This city’s exploding; it’s huge, people are coming to experience Austin The food scene is thriving, the bar scene, the entertainment, the live music. We have all of it here and it’s a force to be reckoned with. if you’re coming to Austin my best advice would be add three days to your trip. Advice number 2 if you’re coming to Austin is don’t plan on getting a lot of sleep and advice number three is come back because you want to come to Austin once when there’s something really great going on like South by Southwest or ACL Festival but you also want to come to Austin when there’s not a whole lot of tourists in town. And when you can go out and see what makes Austin special for the people that live here.
